The monthly housing report from S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller
- Prior was +9.08%
- 20-city m/m +1.25% vs +1.2% (prior was +1.42%)
- National index +10.37% y/y vs +9.49% prior
There’s all the talk about the high US savings rate during the pandemic but that’s dwarfed by the amount of housing wealth that’s been created. That money is going to be tapped, to some extent.
