Ukraine and Moldova accepted as candidate EU members

Moscow has said it has no problem with Ukraine joining the EU, so there’s no hurdle there. The problem is on the standards side. The Ukraine was the poorest country in Europe per capita before the war and that’s going to be undoubtedly worsened.
