{"id":175900,"date":"2021-10-14T00:45:46","date_gmt":"2021-10-13T16:45:46","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2021-10-14T00:45:46","modified_gmt":"2021-10-13T16:45:46","slug":"u-s-treasury-to-auction-off-24-billion-of-reopened-30-year-bonds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swingfish.trade\/blog\/uncategorized\/u-s-treasury-to-auction-off-24-billion-of-reopened-30-year-bonds-175900\/","title":{"rendered":"U.S. Treasury to auction off $24 billion of reopened 30 year bonds"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"ae-body\">Auction to occur at the top of the hour<\/h2>\n<p>                the U.S. Treasury will auction off 24 billion of reopened at 30 year bonds at the top of the hour (29 year and 10 month).<\/p>\n<p>The\u00c2\u00a0six month averages of the major components of the\u00c2\u00a0recent auctions shows:<\/p>\n<div readability=\"9.9502982107356\">\n<ul>\n<li>Bid to cover, 2.31x<\/li>\n<li>Directs (a measure of domestic demand),\u00c2\u00a019.1%<\/li>\n<li>Indirects (a measure of international demand),\u00c2\u00a062.7%<\/li>\n<li>Dealers (the dealers sop up the left over volume),\u00c2\u00a018.1%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The\u00c2\u00a0last auction yield came in at 1.91%.. The current 30 year is trading around 2.05%.
