{"id":239951,"date":"2022-07-02T14:08:52","date_gmt":"2022-07-02T06:08:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swingfish.trade\/blog\/library\/philosophy\/swingfish-private\/2022\/07\/risk-on-risk-off\/"},"modified":"2026-06-23T10:20:05","modified_gmt":"2026-06-23T03:20:05","slug":"risk-on-risk-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swingfish.trade\/blog\/library\/risk-on-risk-off-239951\/","title":{"rendered":"Risk ON \/ Risk OFF"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>my Trading performance isn&#8217;t that good currently, lot&#8217;s of time there are some hickups<br \/>\nlike<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>targets not reached (support\/resisstance seem to have its own life<\/li>\n<li>liquidity is not constantly at the same level causing erratic movements.<\/li>\n<li>War tensions and other nonsense<\/li>\n<li>upcoming Rate Hikes Worldwide.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more-->well, the Rate Hikes do have an advantage as this will cause some movement of money on a global scale, and guess what, that\u00c2\u2019s a good thing as markets will become a lot more liquid.<\/p>\n<p>but in the aftermath of Covid-19 and a War may be around the corner, things are uncertain and we start to see massive movements even intraday.<\/p>\n<p>This adds another level of complexity, so it\u00c2\u2019s time to adjust, take smaller pieces instead of waiting for the big moves!<\/p>\n<p>since we do trade mostly Forex, a zero-sum market in general, ranges should be all we trade anyway.<\/p>\n<p>here is a screenshot of the current 30-day stats, (back in November this was at 14%!
