On the less-optimistic side, Israel is continuing strikes and operations in southern Lebanon.<\/p>\n<p>WTI crude oil last traded down $7.30 to $91.78 and the S&amp;P 500 is up 1.0%. A WSJ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/world\/europe\/europe-drafts-postwar-plan-to-free-up-hormuz-without-u-s-5638f5f8?mod=hp_lead_pos1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">report <\/a>is also just out saying that Europe could be doing the de-mining in Hormuz.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>European countries are putting together a plan for a broad coalition of countries to help free up shipping through the <a data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/world\/middle-east\/how-the-u-s-navy-is-blockading-the-strait-of-hormuz-to-choke-off-irans-ports-0a3f9784?mod=article_inline\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"ekxajjj0 css-i0lbhy-OverridedLink\">Strait of Hormuz<\/a>, including sending mine- clearing and other military vessels.
