A portion of the facility was bombed by Iran during the war and that will take years to repair, leaving it at 80% capacity for an extended period. <\/p>\n<p>This was an accident though, the energy minister said and not due to aggression or sabotage. In terms of damages and operations, he said he doesn&#8217;t yet have an answer but it will take some time to assess.<\/p>\n<p>The explosion and damages are likely to further tighten the global LNG market at a vulnerable time.
