That as the monthly figure was flattish, with the average price of a dwelling in the UK even falling slightly to \u00a3277,484 from \u00a3278,024 in May.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\">The overall market remains more tepid but somewhat resilient despite the complications from the Middle East conflict.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\">Nationwide notes that:<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\">&#8220;It is not surprising that the market has softened a little in recent months, given the uncertainty caused by developments in the Middle East and the subsequent rise in energy prices and market interest rates.
