The impact<br \/>\nof elevated oil and gas prices due to the conflict in the Middle<br \/>\nEast was reported to be pushing up prices for a wide range of<br \/>\ngoods from suppliers. Similarly, manufacturers themselves<br \/>\nchose to increase their own charges, with the latest data<br \/>\nshowing the steepest rise in output prices since October<br \/>\n2022.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\">That&#8217;s not a good look if the trend catches on elsewhere in the region, which is likely, and carries over into the summer.
