Of note, cost pressures moderated in June and supply chain<br \/>\ndisruptions were notably less acute than in April and May. But still, it wasn&#8217;t enough to really see a marked improvement in conditions and overall activity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\">Commercial construction (41.5) was the best-performing category<br \/>\nand showed some resilience in June. Meanwhile, house building activity (35.9) decreased at the<br \/>\nsharpest pace in 2026 to date. And civil engineering<br \/>\nactivity (22.1) fell to the greatest extent since April 2020. So, there&#8217;s not much of a relief in that sense.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\">Demand for construction products and materials softened<br \/>\nagain in June, which helped to alleviate pressures on supply<br \/>\nchains.
