Consumer appraisals of current<br \/>\nbusiness conditions were mildly positive. Perceptions of the current<br \/>\nlabor market improved, reversing three months of moderate decline.<br \/>\nLooking ahead, consumers were more pessimistic about business conditions<br \/>\n and the labor market over the next six months.
