Here is the latest rant from the President following today’s jobs report:<\/p>\n

Great jobs number just announced, breaking all estimates (except mine!)
\nby double and triple – And you haven\u2019t seen anything yet! EMPLOYERS
\nADDED 162,000 JOB IN AUGUST. Lower the interest rates because the U.S.A.
\n is a much stronger credit than it was just a short time ago! A STRONG
\nCOUNTRY MEANS A LOWER INTEREST RATE – IT\u2019S A BETTER CREDIT\u2026Very simple!
\nWe should have the LOWEST RATE of any country in the World, like \u201cthe
\nold days.\u201d Without the United States agreeing to allow them their big
\nsurpluses, and we could stop that immediately, they would no longer be
\nconsidered financially ELITE! LOWER THE RATE OR I\u2019LL STOP TRADING WITH
\nCOUNTRIES WITH WHICH WE HAVE A DEFICIT, which the U.S. Supreme Court, in
\n its ridiculous and very costly Tariff decision, strongly acknowledged
\n\u201cthe President\u201d has an absolute right to do. ITS BETTER THAN TARIFFS!
\nThe Fed Board, with its great new leader, must get smart – BE PATRIOTS
\nfor a change. High interest rates put the U.S.A. at a very unfair
\ndisadvantage, and I won\u2019t allow that to happen! President DONALD J.
\nTRUMP<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I don’t even know where to start with this nonsense.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Time will tell if the Fed is willing to hike rates or face whatever Trump is rambling about. In any case, the market is seeing the data is less-hawkish than initially as the US dollar has given back most of its gains.<\/p>\n
