Iran this week has repeated its ‘seven conditions’ several times and most of it was part of the agreement with the US from June 17.<\/p>\n

Here is a recap:<\/p>\n

1. End military operations on all fronts. A permanent halt to attacks against Iran and allied groups, including in Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq and the Palestinian territories.<\/p>\n

2. Release frozen Iranian assets. Unfreeze Iranian money held overseas, with approximately $12 billion identified in subsequent negotiations.<\/p>\n

3. Lift the US naval blockade. End restrictions on Iranian ports, tankers and commercial shipping.<\/p>\n

4. Remove economic and political sanctions. Restore Iran’s ability to export oil and conduct international financial transactions.<\/p>\n

5. Withdraw US naval and air forces from the region. End the American military deployments and operations that Tehran regards as threatening Iran.<\/p>\n

6. Pay war reparations. Compensate Iran for damage inflicted during the 2025 and 2026 conflicts.<\/p>\n

7. End threats and hostile interference. Stop military threats, hostile rhetoric and what Tehran considers interference in its internal affairs.<\/p>\n

The US is demanding action on the nuclear to file to go along with whatever it’s prepared to do in terms of those conditions. For me, this doesn’t sound like Iran is particularly worried about fresh US strikes but everyone talks tough before going to the negotiating table.<\/p>\n

WTI crude oil was last down $1.17 to $101.60.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
