European equity close: Solid day for the main stock indexes

Closing changes for the main European bourses:
- German DAX +0.7%
- FTSE 100 +0.3%
- French CAC +0.5%
- Italy MIB +0.9%
- Spain IBEX -0.1%
The political picture is a bit better in Italy and that led to a better day. There’s still some work to do to get back to the January high.
