Israel issues evacuation warning near Iran’s Arak nuclear complex

The Israel Defense Force has issued evacuation orders in Arabic and Farsi for civilians and workers in parts of Arak and Khandab, urging them to leave immediately. The warning states the IDF is conducting operations in the area targeting Iranian military infrastructure:

• to evacuate all areas within a 2km radius from the Arak Heavy Water Reactor

This is the first such evacuation alert issued outside Tehran and appears focused on the Arak Nuclear Complex, home to a 40MW heavy water reactor that is believed to be currently inactive.
