China vice premier says their stance on trade issues with US is clear and consistent

• China is not willing to fight but not afraid to do so if needed
• Urges US to fulfil its promises and take appropriate action
• Vows to enhance cooperation with the US
• Both sides should push for stable and long-term trade, economic ties
• China is sincere in trade talks in London but will stand by its principle

Interesting to see that China is only offering up some general remarks here. Once again, it shows that both sides might have different interpretations of how things transpired over the last two days. As mentioned before, any easing of export controls are but a small gesture of goodwill to promote more serious trade negotiations. But one can expect the US and Trump especially to make a big deal out of it in the coming day(s).
