The report says US officials are looking for a clear signal that the negotiating team has been fully empowered to reach an agreement.

Because of that, the trip hasn’t been cancelled. However it also says that Iran didn’t respond to US positions.

Meanwhile, reports continue to say that Iran wants the blockade lifted before it will commit to attending negotiations.

None of this is good news and US markets are sliding. The S&P 500 is down 0.5% and June WTI is now up $4.

On the Israel side, a report says they are “fully coordinated and ready for immediate resumption of war” with Iran, believing no deal will be reached, per a senior Israeli security official.
