The optimistic view on this is that Israel and Lebanon are working on a deal to withdraw Israeli forces from Southern Lebanon. That was one of the major sticking points in the prior US-Iran deal and could be a key sticking point in getting a deal done this week.
The talks are scheduled to go through Thursday so Friday is likely the earliest we could get news.
Update: No surprise here but the State Dept says Lebanon-Israel negotiations discussed the redeployment of Israeli forces in southern Lebanon, which is a way of saying ‘redeploying them out of Lebanon’.
